Description

The map to go with Appendix over at FF.net (Chapter 2 www.fanfiction.net/s/6766236/2 and 3 www.fanfiction.net/s/6766236/3…
This is the unlabeled map: serendipitous-way.deviantart.c…

Provinces and neighbours:
Lanayru, Eldin, Faron, Castor, Ordon, Lake Province, Snowpeak, the Zora's Domain, the Goron Hills, the Desert, Valley (old head-canon), Belt Archipelago, Holodrum (eventually conquered), Labrynna (neighbour), Trimal (changes hands, no idea where I got the name), Acerose (a neighbour so named because it's pointy-looking, following the river), Calatia (distant neighbour).

Towns:
Kasuto and Old Kasuto, Kakariko and an old Kakariko, two Castle towns (next to their castles), the Blue Maiden's Village, Gerudo Fortress, Gerudo Village, Ordon Village, Horon Village.

Also, some ruins, seas, rivers, Lake Hylia, many many many mountains, general field/swamp/forest locations.

It was sitting half done for though I like mapping over a year because I couldn't bear to draw another mountain, but PS won't let me download brushes (it's old) but I only recently wondered if it would let me make one... :P

I used a paper texture starslatestock.deviantart.com/… by :iconstarslatestock:
And the Hylian font is by :iconsarinilli:

Dragons and other monsters mean a place is either dangerous or uncharted! Admire my crappy little Volvagia!

Ahh, this is lovely, thanks so much for this! Out of all the Hyrule map-searching I did, this looks like the best.  Works perfectly with Skyward Sword, too, like wow.  Oh gosh how exciting.  You should be proud of yourself.  I would double-fave this if I could.

On the off chance you're curious, I was looking for a good map because I have an elaborate fic planned out in my head, and the map I made was sloppy and from memory.  Then I finally get around to looking into accuracy, and golly gee does the Zelda universe make that difficult.  Turns out that if I tilt my map sideways and move the lake, it's similar enough to this one that plot-relevant geography still works fine--there's really a convenient amount of overlap, even in the regional exports.  And wow, I am still amazed at how well this works with SS.

Sorry if you've already stated this elsewhere, but where exactly does this fall on the timeline?  My fic takes place in a de-flooded Hyrule about 900 years after the events of Windwaker.  I think yours follows the TP timeline?

P.S. Is there any chance I could get a version of this without the writing or man-made landmarks?  If I ever get around to writing the thing, and that's a big if, you'd definitely be credited.
